Engine noises

I don't want to be an alarmest...

First time I have heard this. Light throttle input around 2000-2500....almost sounds like there is an intake manifold leak? Off throttle it goes away...heavy throttle it goes away.

Had to have the A/C off, radio off, and windows up to even hear it. Everything seems normal. Car runs fine, pressures are fine. Just turned over 516 miles.

If I didn't know better it almost sounded like the secondaries on a carb opening....but we all know that isn't going on.

EDIT: your symptoms are described differently, but the RPM and method of enabling the sound is the same it seems.

Haven't really experienced the noise the op is talking about.

I have noticed the intake tube has a little pop when I turn the car off. It sounds like "blooop." That seems kind of weird...

Yep, makes some noises at shut off and when lightly modulating the throttle (ie backing into the garage), im guessing its the throttle body opening/closing causing the intake air charge to displace.

OP - if it only does it while cold and not once warmed up, you're describing piston slap.
