I think I made a couple drivers really angry cause I spent a very long time in stop and go traffic without using the brakes more than a couple times. Problem is that using the brakes is kinda overkill in traffic.

With the car being as loud as it is, and the planned removal of the resonators, I think I'll have to be a bit more mindful of the noise coming from the downshift engine braking. I'd be sorry for the noise, but then again, not sorry :D

I engine brake fairly regularly currently, and I don't see that changing too much with the gt350.

Considering how engines are kinda made for engine braking, yeah that's a little silly. And I'm engine braking around 3 - 4000 RPM on average. That's nothing.

After spending a couple of days at the Ford Performance Racing School, I plan to engine brake much less on the track than I used to. I used to pride myself on being easy on brakes. In my 70 Mustang, that was necessary. This car has vastly superior brakes and I plan to use them for what they were intended.

after the clutch has engaged is engine breaking that bad? I know you wouldn't want to trash the clutch but I engine break quite a bit.

For street driving, no need to keep the rpm in the 4000rpm.
Use the brakes. They are cheaper.

Depends what RPM. Keeping it in the 4-6000 rpm is unnecessary wear as well as heat.
