The design with the most votes will be made.
(edit: voting multiple times will not increase your pick's chances, the poll logs IDs.. but I appreciate the enthusiasm)

Hey guys,
A lot of you have probably seen the Howler and Cyclone badges we've produced. As we gear up for the V3 batch here shortly, I've been working on potential EB designs as well. I've wanted to make this badge ever since we started this project (EcoBoost family unite!), but as some of you have seen, it's difficult to come up with a 'spirit animal' for this unique beast. I wanted to share my ideas and design evolution with you guys.

There was another thread in here awhile back with a pretty sweet HoneyBadger design. While the artwork was really nicely done, it struck me as a bit contrived or artificial to pull a mascot out of thin air without any history behind it, personally. I wanted to see if we could come up with something more near and dear to the Mustang family.

Now, the EcoBoost engine, as far as I've researched has no known code name. That's where we get the howling coyote for the GT and cyclone for the V6.

So I started thinking of the entire EcoBoost family:
Small displacement turbocharged engines, being pushed hard by Ford across many models as the next evolution in performance, fuel economy, and reliability. Turbo + Direct Injection + Variable Camshafts. The newcomer to the Mustang family, almost sacrilegious in its rejection of the traditional big displacement, gas guzzling American muscle.

We have this small, potent powerhouse - powered by air - the unknown underdog of the Mustang pony family.
A dark horse.

Enough of my rambling, here are the pics:

Comments & critiques welcome. This is for you guys, so any input is good input.
I'm pretty excited to rock one of these.

Anyway you can make an SVO badge in this configuration ? I have the svo letter badge on rear and love it, I love the shape of this badge for front grill, but not too sure I like this logo.

Yeah, we can definitely look into it. I'll have to see if Ford's trademark on SVO precludes us from making one with those letters. (Don't want to piss off Big Blue).

That could be a cool badge. S V O letters vertically maybe.

Or just keep it super simple and do a EB in th bigger spot and keep the 2.3T towards the bottom

1-E or 2-C are the only ones I would rock on my car but then again I'm trying to get rid of as many horses as possible. I just like the platform

Do you have a time-line for when these will be available?

Round 1, #3... the last one with the horse on the side, with chin tucked... that would be great, without the wings.

I don't liked the wings look.... at all, unfortunately.

If you can do this it would be great, if it's a problem with ford just sell them off site, special order :-)

I messaged one of you guys a while back about this. Why not use a leaf, similar to the one in the Ecoboost logo without the road portion below it? It'd keep in line with the EcoBoost theme and you could do the EB 2.3 below it. I'm not really a fan of adding the "T" to the end as that's primarily a VW thing on their badges.

Edit: Here's a very poor rendering using an online Photoshop to provide a general idea of what I'm talking about. I'm at work and can't produce anything nice, lol. Also, the leaf needs to be reduced by about 25% or so. It looks too big in my render, but again, you can get the idea of what I'm talking about.
