I have the stock EB PP wheels because I don't have the cash to spend on newer more expensive wheels.Basically, I need new tires but I'm looking to change the stance a bit.

Currently I have the 19x9 PP wheels on the 15 EB PP with 255/40/19. I'm lowered about an inch all around and want to eliminate some more wheel gap and push out my wheels.

Therefore, I want to get a wider tire (265/40/19 squared) and get 1 inch spacers so I can eliminate more wheel gap. I don't know a lot about tire-wheel setups, but does this seem like an okay plan? Should I try to go to 275/40/19 like some people go on the GT PP 19x9f wheels?

Seems like a good plan. You could do 275/40s, but its a squeeze and they'll bulge out slightly from the wheels. Just the spacers alone will do wonders for the appearance.

Thanks for the response. Would you recommend 25mm or 35mm spacers? Since the EB stock PP wheels are really tucked in there

I had 275s on the stock wheels with 1 inch spacers for s while. The rears wull stick out a bit but it still looks fine. If you can get 20mm spacers itll sit flush. Be SURE to get quality spacers that also have studs built into them and that are hub centric to your car. If you keep the 255 or go 265 a 1 inch spacer will sit flush

If I keep the 255 or go to 265, won't there be more wheel gap though because of the less diameter of the tire compared to 275/40? At this point, I'm set on going above 255, but am unsure whether to commit to 275 or 265. I am thinking of which one is cheaper in the long term

I'd go with 275s and a 20mm spacer. Dont expect a huuuge gap difference tho, from 255 to 275 theres only 8 mm of sidewall difference. The big change is gonna come from the spacers, since the tire sits closer to the fender outwards, it gives the illusion of less wheel gap
