So i just brought home my tech pack and want the track pack spoiler.

I talked to my dealer and they actually came up with two options.

One option is obviously the standard factory part number.

The other is from the accessory catalog. ( PN gr32-6344210-BC)

They look identical.

The factory part number is 1900 bucks.

the accessory part is 545 bucks.

They look the same in the pictures, but i'm guessing that they are not.

Can anybody explain to me what the difference actually is?

I obviously dont want to spend more that i have to. i want an oem spoiler.

Definitely interesting, and you're correct in that they look identical.

I've also noticed the R spoiler is now down to $7k in the catalog.

How were you able to access the accessory catalog? I am having trouble locating anything under that part #

with the parts folks at the dealer and the service manager. we looked it up in the paper catalog, then pulled it up on their computer and they printed out both options.

It also appears that the accessory catalog part comes painted, the service part does not.

It is. be warned though, most parts guys who actually like these cars will STRONGLY recommend that you also buy the new trunk lid to go with the R spoiler, should you choose to go that way.

The mounting is completely different and many ford body shops don't want to fill the old holes.

I think that the GR3Z-6344210-BC is the Blade spoiler, Ford Parts web site lists the Track Pack spoiler part# as <6344210-C for $1935.27 I think the diagram is incorrect and it is listing the track pack spoiler under both part #'s. What I found odd is it tells you that it will display the full part # on your invoice when you purchase it on the Ford Parts web site

I'll be waiting for it to come down further anyway, not paying that much. I paid less than that for carbon wings on my exotics!

It's hard to tell, but I'll probably order one and just return it if it's wrong.

This is true, but I have another avenue of getting one where this shouldn't be a concern. I'll keep you updated, as I should be ordering today.

Ordered the spoiler today under the accessory part number. Came out to $412. It won't be in for a few weeks. Guess we will see if this is the jackpot or not.
