Delivery any day now?

Not based on what I keep hearing. If what I have is true, that the supplier for the OTT stripes is having difficulty meeting the order, then cars without OTT will probably get delivered first.

I keep hearing these rumors, but I just dont buy it. If it was a 1 or 2 week delay ok, but 2-3 months for the 16s and 4 months+ for the 15s for vinyl stripes just about anyone can make? Not buying it.

I don't know. But I keep hearing that. It could be that and then another issue was uncovered. Even if it was the stripes and only a 2 week production delay on the vinyl, that's a lot of work that has to happen to get those cars prepped and ready to get the stripes applied if the cars have been sitting outside for any length of time. Probably longer than it takes to build a car...

The earliest ETAs for the 2015s was the last week in July. So, currently they are about 2 months+ late.

I just got news of a car with a build that started last week and delivery in about 4 weeks. No stripes on the car.

The reason the GT 350s aren't shipping is:

1. Excessive engine vibrations
2. Hood
3. Defective part from supplier
4. Ford wants to ship on day Camaro hits the market
5. Panel gaps
6. Dealers complaining about unfair allocations
7. Exhaust system
7. Stripes

It still boils down to there was never an official release date given that I can recall. Does anyone have that? I may have missed it and don't feel like searching for it. Everything was later in the year with no specific date given.

But, given all the noise here being generated by people that are expecting the product you think we could get a little something from Ford. Unless it's totally embarrassing to them I dont see why they would hold back any news. What percentage of buyers would jump ship? Has to be small, and that would only be back filled very quickly by those waiting in line.

Unless it's so bad it means the car won't be what's it's cracked up to be? Then they would lose a lot of buyers.

So fun to speculate. Could be the lunar eclipse??

mine was ordered with stripes and black roof, when i called today the build date is still the same for oct 19 as of now.

That's only for the GT 350D being introduced in 2017. :lol:

No matter what the delay it would be nice to have some kind of transparent communication from Ford as to the reason. Then the speculation would stop, or at least slow down a little. There are "X" issues (see list) that we are working through and this will delay production X weeks, months...etc.
