Anyone found anything on G2 or other quality caliper paints??

I'm wondering how G2 orange matches up with competition orange so if anyone has some pics, please post em up.

Here's the POR 15 caliper paint in action. It looks like powder-coating.

What brush did you use? Looks great!
I just found a quality, fine-bristle 1" brush at my local hardware store. I spent about $6 for it. Well worth it, as it allows the paint to lay down pretty smooth from the get-go. Do an initial coat..., wait about 4 hours and do the second coat.

The POR 15 flows out smooth, and when it cures it is rock-hard and looks like powder-coating.

And I have enough paint left over to do 3-4 more pairs of calipers. Great stuff.

P.S.

Here are the decals I used. These are good quality as well, very good adhesive.

Sounds good man thanks. I have the decals now, may have been from that source as well. I'll be using G2 paint on mine being that's what I've already bought, unless there's some reason this is much better.

Is one 8 oz. can enough to do all 4 with two coats?

Looks good. I assume you did this with calipers still on the car?
Yes, I did.

I did remove all of the hardware from the calipers (brake pads, pins, retainer plate), I then masked off the rotor and I only painted the parts of the caliper that can be seen, namely the front side, back side (facing the rear of the car) and top/bottom of the caliper. I did not bother to paint the inboard side of the caliper as that side never gets seen by anyone so why waste the paint?

Make sure you put cardboard down on the garage floor beneath the caliper, wear gloves of some kind and old jeans/shoes; because you will get this stuff on your hands/clothes, and it will drip slightly off the caliper onto the floor. And once this stuff gets on something, I STAYS!
