FYI in a early Motor Trend road test on a 2015 Ecoboost stang 6 speed manual, they found performance was better shifting by high boost vs high rpm's was better. When do you guys shift for daily driving and what do u think is a safe rpm for a passing gear I usually shift around 2200 rpm and I had a few guys ask me why do I shift so early
I usually shift around 2500k rpm. The funny thing is when I would drive just to get the best MPG, I would shift at 2000-2200 rpm. But I was getting better MPG when I was shifting around 2500.When do you guys shift for daily driving and what do u think is a safe rpm for a passing gear I usually shift around 2200 rpm and I had a few guys ask me why do I shift so early
