It's a bit of a joke, Eating popcorn while watching something like a thread going off the rails.

Since previous threads ended up with rants about badges on V6s I felt this meme was appropriate. I don't like mimes, i think they are creepy :lol:

I like it. It would go really well with my Race Red Shelby. I don't want to make an R clone. I don't want the splitter, I don't want the wing, I'll never have an R plaque, or R seats, or R wheels. But the R emblem, R calipers, and R steering wheel look pretty damn nice.

Wel, it did not take long for the Chinese to manufacture a clone of the badge. Are their any other manufacturers besides the original Ford R version?

I bought one just to see how it is. The colors are off and it's huge. It's nice enough to mount somewhere in the garage but it is not getting anywhere near my car. It's over 4.5 inches tall.

I never liked trying to make your car appear to be something that it is not. When I was younger and worked at a Mercedes dealer customers would buy and SL320 and put SL600 badging on it. Seems stupid to me, be proud of what you own and do not try to make it something that it is not.

I saw a Miata on I-4 in Tampa yesterday that was all badged out as a Maserati, it was hilarious.

While I agree with your opinion on trying to pass off a car as something that it's not, I don't feel that putting a red badge on a gt350 fits that bill. Sure, us enthusiasts know only the R comes with a red badge, but I would bet most people don't. And the red badge doesn't say R. I personally think the red accents look so much better than white. I want to get red badges and do the pinstripe in red. I'm proud of the gt350 track pack that I have, and think the red accents will make it look that much more badass. To each his own, though.
