A little over two weeks ago i installed the Airaid cold air intake onto my 2015 mustang gt and it sounded a little bit different, which i expected. Then today i took my car to a specialty shop that deals with mustangs to have them install a stainless steel clutch line and the whiteline transmission insert. After driving away i noticed the car sounded drastically different.

Anybody have an ideas as to why ?

It is the sound increasing a bit with the trans bushing. You will get used to it in 2 weeks or so.

Oooh, that makes sense.
In other reviews I read no one ever mentioned that the bushing would make the car sound different.
Learned something new :)
Thanks

the aftermarket bushing is stiffer so more sounds from the driveline (exhaust is mounted to the engine which is part of the driveline) get transmitted into the cabin via vibration. Personally, I liked the increased exhaust sound in the cabin after I installed my steeda bushing

I like it too, just wasn't expecting it and wanted to make sure it wasn't anything out of the ordinary

I actually hated it, and the extra vibration (and mine was the new version with the hole already drilled in it). I removed it the very next chance I had. I'd rather have the 2-3 notch than the weird vibration feel and sound that it added.

I ripped that bushing out right after installing it, some folks don't seem to mind it but I did. I got rid of the trans shift issues with a full MGW shifter setup, in the long run it seemed like the best way to go without more trial and error.

You can cut a hole in it to reduce the NVH.
You can cut a hole in it....and still have NVH. The reduction is minimal from my experience with cutting the hole.

Ah OK. Glad I didn't cut mine. I forgot about the noise after a week.
