Waiting for my Whipple stg 2 to show up and I'm trying to figure out what rims and tires to run. I know the p-zero's aren't going to be much use. I really like the concaved look and will probably go with matte black. Just not sure if I should go with 19's or 20's, I would like to go 305's in the rear or maybe 315's. I don't know much about the offsets. I don't drive in rain or in the winter with this car so all season's aren't needed. I also plan on lowering the car once I figure out which spring I want to go with. I know there are countless threads about all this but I'm having sensory overload flipping through all of them.
Your experience and comments will be greatly appreciated.

Well the best way to start is basing it off a brand or style you like from there we can single a wheel model that works and then also proper tire sizes.

Personally imma say a 19" with a 285/325 tire or 305 rear tire combo would def help with the performance and pair well with the whipple your doing.

Let me know if I can help you out personally.

Yeah those Project6gr wheels are pretty amazing. Designed for the S550, they only come in proper offsets and look great lowered or at stock height. You can get them in 11" wide for traction in the rear. Paul @ N4SM can help you out with most sizing questions.

You'll only need to decide if you want 19"s or 20s. I went with 19s to keep costs low, keep a reasonable tire sidewall height for protection against potholes and generally bumpy roads, and maximize my tire selection choices down the road. Plus the 19s are even more concave looking than the 20s.

Those are nice, leaning towards the forgestar F14. Sent a pm to Paul at need4speed. I've read some good things about them, I'm sure he will give me some great ideas.

We've all been there. I think the process goes something like this:
1. Casually look at wheels
2. Decide you want wheels, research, make yourself sick
3. Post question
4. Search more
5. Listen to Paul
6. Search and obsess more
7. Order from Paul

At least that's how it went for me. :)

Lol! Same here. My coworkers probably saw about 400 pics of wheels over a month or two before I ordered.

Paul was my first PM on here. I began my wheel search almost immediately after buying the car. I spoke to many vendors, scoured the internet, kept PMing Paul. He always responded fast, friendly and helpful. It took me about 5 months to finally decide. Zero regret with my 19x10 square setup of the Project6GR's.

Just got another compliment 10 minutes ago when I was out on a smoke break at work.
