Hey guys. Long time lurker but finally decided to make an account.

I'm having some front inner tire wear on my 2021 Mustang GT and wanted to get everyone's thoughts on it. I had the car aligned last year with the original PP wheels and the alignment guy got me a perfect 0 toe front and some toe in at the rear. The camber was untouched as we couldn't adjust the front camber without camber plates. So I'm sitting at -2 degrees at the front and -1.5/1.6 at the rear with lowering springs. I picked up a set of PP2 wheels some time after and mounted them onto the car with Michelin PSS and did not get the car realigned. Unfortunately, I'm having excessive inner tire wear at the front, while the rears are wearing evenly. I'm only at 8k miles on these tires and I'd like to get a lot more as the tread is not near the wear indicators. Would this be a result of lack of toe in or just too much camber? I can't see why the rears are worn evenly with only a 0.4 degree difference while the fronts are getting eaten up. The rest of the tread is worn about even with exception to the edge. Attached are pics of the front tires and my alignment sheet from last year. Thanks everyone.

Front toe HAS to be in to avoid that wear. 1/16 inch total is fine.

I believe the correct spec is .01 degree toe in each side for a total of .02

Thank you everyone. I will have the car re-aligned and ask for the guy to replicate the toe specs from the rear onto the front. I assume 1/16" toe in on all four corners is fine?

1/8 total front toe in is kind of a lot. Go for 1/16 total.

According to your sheet 0 to .2 toe in.

.1 is center spec or .05 degrees each side. More than I remembered.

Why not also get some front camber bolts for when you do your alignment next? They aren't that expensive and most alignment shops won't charge you much to throw them in.

Why?

Negative 2 is good camber for these cars on the street. -1.5 to -1.75 is good for the rear. Unless you are a straight line only guy.

He was saying the camber was too far out. I don't know what's good camber and bad off the top of my head haha, I look it up every time I get an alignment because I usually just follow Steedas or KellTracs street drag alignment spec

It's not camber wearing his tires.

I run -2.5 up front and -1.75 rear.

Yeah I've read people running far more than 2 degrees camber on the fronts and their tires aren't wearing like mine. I like the 2 degrees for the twisty roads haha. But I appreciate the input.

But to confirm, I should ask my alignment guy to provide 1/32" toe in at either side, for a total of 1/16" in at the front?

You would have to convert degrees to inches. Most alignment machines do toe in degrees.

.05 in per side
