Unless you can get an R, I'm not sure why you would buy another GT350. You didn't seem to be in love with the one you had so maybe try something else.
It was a love hate thing you know. I hated it when I wasn't driving it.

I'll tell yall my list so far.

2018 Shelby GT350
2018 Shelby GT350R
2019 Shelby GT500
2015+ Jaguar F-type V8
2010+ Maserati Graturismo
2010+ Audi R8
2015+ Aston Martin Vantage
2013+ Dodge Viper

Really don't want something I have to heavily customize or spend a fortune on for routine service. The 2011 R8 V10 cost $150 for a complete oil change. That's very reasonable.

If the GT500 were available when I sold my 17 GT350, I may have gone that way but likley the Ford dealers will gouge on them for the first 18 months. I wanted something fast, comfortable and able to take long trips in it without being paralyzed after getting out.

I went with a 2016 M6 Challenger Hellcat and I don't think i'll even be looking at the GT500's when they come out.

Well guys, last night I traded in the Shelby. It had almost 16k miles on it and they gave me 50k straight for it and I really couldn't say no. We took the money and bought my dad a 2017 Porsche Panamera, a car he's always wanted and it makes for a good early father's day present. So later this year early next year I'll be purchasing a new car and would like yalls help on it. Right now I have for options. If you think of anything in the $75,000 range please let me know. Thanks everyone!
What did you have before, what are your tastes and how long do you typically keep a car?

Personally I like the Voodoo enough that I would want a GT350, but that's why I haven't sold mine. If you want a track car, but the GT350 isn't doing it for you, I would go with something less expensive so you have money left for mods and track days. For a track car you could do a Miata with a turbo or BRZ - one of those little cheap cars with a power adder, tires suspension and brakes. Or a used Porsche might be a decent way to go. I would still want a power adder on the Porsche, but that's just me. I'm not sure whether the Porsche engines hold up well to that, though. A used Viper might be fun.

If you want a cool cruiser, maybe a Hellcat or ZL1. I would go for the Hellcat if I wanted more of a cruiser, but that's just me.

Viper if you do any sort of track work but not sure if ACR's with the aero package have dropped that much yet. Parts and service are inexpensive and the motor has been around forever.

GT350R = Proven goodness! (GT500 = unknown)

Others I'd be looking at (not all are within $75k):

Used Porsche 911 (993, 997, 991 and any GT3 variant)
Used Boxster Spyder or Cayman GT4
BMW M2
Audi S7
Corvette Grand Sport
Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio
Mazda Miata MX-5 (Best bang for the buck sports car out there, IMHO)

Gen 5 Vipers are in the 75 range now? Interesting...
yes for base models, if you want GTS going to have to pony up to low-mid 80s. But I think the prices have bottomed out. Cant find anything else like this for 80k
