Here's something else that's interactive and frankly quite cool in my book... so I'd like to share some tidbit details in regards to the SRT build experience. I wished Ford Performance, just for example, had something like this or even somewhat close to this where you can track in detail the entire production process of your car and the phases or stages it goes through.
They (FP) do - just not available to everyone. Just as your's is specific to the ACR and not say a Durango.
Well if they do then it sure is the best kept secret... and selective. If a program is available like this then it should be available for all, for example, GT350/GT350R buyers IMHO.They (FP) do - just not available to everyone. Just as your's is specific to the ACR and not say a Durango.
No Performante for me.... lol. I'd shoot for the next RS first before that.Nice addition with the ACR, congrats ! Great color and you will love the downforce
on longer tracks with some speed, takes getting used to but car is so user adjustable.
I think you will be stunned by the ACR after tracking it......
When you get tired of the ACR and GT3 you can trade them in on the Huracan
Performante, active aero, pretty amazing car in itself, or you have one on order ?
You can tell us !
I can help with that. Where are the keys?Great (and wiseazz) minds think alike!
Yesteday I was imagining how I can get all 3 at Sebring so I can hoon around back-to-back-to-back.... :headbonk:
Greetings from Australia; Just enjoying reading through this thread. It was so good to see Edsel Ford. Here at Homestead Speedway... Mr. Edsel Ford signed my dashboard.... and then he, Richard Petty, and Jack Roush signed my strut tower bar. Mr. Ford loves the color! Very complimenting... we chatted for a little bit too and he so much admires the new GT350.
Thanks! And what a great story... so cool and an inspiring tale for others out there to never give up! I met/chatted with Mr. Ford & his sons a few times and they're down to earth and great to have a conversation with. Very nice folks indeed.Greetings from Australia; Just enjoying reading through this thread. It was so good to see Edsel Ford.
Back in 1980 he was with Ford Australia. One of our Ford drivers, Dick Johnson was leading our "Great Race", the Bathurst 1000. He hit a rock and was put out of the race. Dick had mortgaged his house to race and built the engines himself; Dick Johnson Racing ran on a shoestring.
Somehow a collection was organised and Edsel Ford, who was at the track, said Ford Australia would match dollar for dollar!
Around $100,000 was donated and Dick went on to become a motor racing legend here.
Edsel Ford's offer was generous and pivotal at that time.
Ford fans over here hold him in high regard!
Love your garage by the way!!
Cheers!
Have you ever seen those pictures of guys trying to pull a stubborn donkey?
Lol yeah but on the lighter side of things I doubt that car will be exposed to regular monthly track use like I did... chances are it'll be a local cruiser, a weekend toy, and won't even get close to being pushed hard consistently. Looking back, it's still weird though since I never technically actually overheated and the ECM issues didn't start until a year after ownership and like after a dozen track events. Here she was listed... and probably being pampered now. At least she's experienced... been there, done thatLMAO poor Z06.
The 991.2 GT3 manual in Chalk color (looks similar to AG) is my next goal. Just need to figure out how to get it and keep my R at the same time. I'll try take some notes from you ;)
