Borla employee??

I'm not sure where this post should be so I just figured I'd be safe and put it here...I was wondering if anyone knew of any member on the forum that work for Borla? I was told at the dealership my 15 gt had a Borla prototype catback on it and was just trying to find a way to confirm this. Thanks ahead of time for the help!!!! :ford:

I would say it is not. Borla is based out of California. They use their own test cars to make the exhaust.

Actually I live about an hour away from Borlas headquarters in Johnson city, tn. I'll try to get a picture of the exhaust as best I can this evening and post it up on here. I know it's Borla I was just wanting to see if it really was a prototype or not. Thanks you guys!

You can either put it on a "cloud" service and link it, or you can attach it directly (I prefer to attach it directly).

Go to the "Advanced Reply" then scroll down to "Manage Attachments".

Click the button and a window will pop up, allowing you to browse to a photo on your computer and then allowing you to upload it. Once you finish, it will show up on the bottom of your post.

Thanks a lot track!! Hopefully that works!! I'm on a iPhone so who knows? The reason I think it really is a preproduction exhaust is the fact it came from the dealer with it and it has a Borla resonator, frpp by Borla mufflers and tips. No available ford racing exhaust has a resonator, and no Borla exhaust has frpp muffs and tips. The fact the dealership is less than 30 minutes away from Borlas headquarters helps lean me toward prototype also.

How can you tell that it's the sport mufflers? I couldn't find any numbers on any of it.

Pretty good reason to know I guess!! Lol Do the sports look the same as the touring then? How can you tell them apart? Sorry I'm just trying to figure out what I've got because I'm putting the frpp x to replace to resonator because it's way to quiet for me right now. It's got a great sound just not the volume I'm looking for.
