Went to a car meet last night came home got out of the car to move something from front of the garage and noticed a ticking noise but not loud but I know I never heard this ticking before. It was about 48 degrees out. It's not the injectors because I hear the injectors but this hard to pin point but it seems it's coming from the timing cover somewhere. I use 5w30 (south florida). Any one have this? Should I be concerned? Thinking of changing the oil again. 1800 miles on oil.

Well looks like no one has this issue. Maybe something minor I hope.

I have a slight tick when the engine is cold (5w30 here too). If I push the clutch in the tick quiets down to where you only hear it if you are listening for it. The sound is amplified with my Boomba shifter mount. In my case, I think it is coming from the pressure plate/clutch assembly. I'm not worried about it.

You running it long tubes? Any bad shifts or over revs lately?
Mak cat delete. No bad shifts. When I go to Mexico to race I shift 7700k boss intake manifold

Everything I've ready about the coyote engines is that they are just loud and noisy in general. Mine has a faint tick, notice it sometimes more than others.

Just left the car running for a while and didn't notice the noise I was hearing from last night. Strange

Sounds like a possible lifter tick? I'm sure it's somewhat normal with these motors.
