Any reason they were not offered on the EU Mustang ? Cant find anything about this.

It's purely a speculative guess but maybe Ford didn't program their BLIS with a frequency that is approved for use in Europe? For the US it's easy enough, the FCC controls what frequency bands the cars can use. I'm not sure how it works in EU so who knows.

BLIS is offered in other Ford models, like Mondeo.. so it's a mystery for me what we can't have it.
For memory seats.... I would know too.

I'm guessing it's purely down to costs and standardising the specs for all the cars coming to Europe. Maybe now that Ford have seen how much interest there is in the Mustang, they'll allow a bit more customisation for future cars.

That's the odd thing, its an option in the US and the EU Mustang is made in the same factory so it wouldn't make much sense cost wise.

Can think of a few reasons myself.

- EU Ford dealer staff isn't educated on these systems
- They have issues with regulations and approval in some countries
- Needs official EU test validation
- Availability

Ye that's true would assume Ford uses the same products for those as they will with the Mustang. Then it's just another mystery with the Eu Mustang!?!?!?

Probably Ford wants to offer a full-loaded model for Europe, but with a competitive price so they could not fit in all the US optional equipment.
They left over the Universal garage door opener too, that is standard with the US premium model!

Luckily we can order the entire sunvisor with the integrated universal remote and swap it - there's already a couple threads in the right section
