So, who's using aftermarket blindspot mirrors (I'm not talking about BLIS mirrors, but the little convex ones that stick on the main mirror)? I've searched the forums and didn't find what I was looking for. I've used Utopicar and Wadestar on my Ram, but its mirrors are huge compared to the Mustang's.

Which blindspot mirrors work best on our S550s? Are there any forum sponsors that make good ones?

I just use a pair of $5 ones off amazon, works fine

That's the style I wish it had. Years ago we had an Escape that had them and they worked well.

These are cool. I may look into them, thanks!

Yep, something similar to this ^ is what I'm looking for if I can't find a nice stick-on type.

You don't need them if you learn how to set your mirrors correctly from the start.
While the plain BLIS mirrors do show me everything I need to see on the road, the main reason I ask is for backing into parking spots. Yes the backup camera helps too but mainly for distance to a curb, car, line at the back of the spot. I don't know why I can't get used to judging my position left-to-right in a spot with the camera, and the side mirrors are very little help without looking like I'm craning my neck to see the ground through them.

Curious what year and trim level you have.
I honestly thought all of them came with built-in blind spot mirrors. And the backup camera on my '18 (8" screen) has several sets of lines that move with the steering wheel to show exactly where you are going and even a center line. I thought the smaller screen showed the same things?
I do like how Ford does the factory insets.

I had the tiny mirrors on my 15', Bliss on my 19'. I'll take Bliss all day long. There are too many idiots on the road and the split second notice of the Bliss system has saved me more than once. And yes, I have my mirror positioned correctly. Have for decades.

I have a 15 premium and I’m not sure if it has that blond spot but it does have that blind spot light that blinks in the mirror.

Cars with Bliss did not have the small mirror in the corner (and had the light). Cars without Bliss did.

I have Bliss on my Mustang and the convex mirrors on my Edge. I prefer the mirrors over the LED light in the mirror. But both systems would be way better than having a car with neither. I'm surprised the OP's car didn't come with one or the other.
