that is where I have mine.... best location, IMO.
I have mine in that exact location! I'm just missing the premium radio. :mad:

I just put mine in the console under the armrest connected to the lightning cable so CarPlay can handle everything while I'm in the car. No stupid mounts to look at, no ugly cables, nothing.

I bought one but mine wont stay :(
Just have to make sure its on the flattest section of the console. If its even a little on a curve it wont keep it's suction.

Here is mine. I don't mind phone blocking the vent.
I did that on my last Mustang until one day I picked the phone up and it was VERY hot from the heat blasting the back of it.

[MENTION=16563]3450[/MENTION] is right... my phone never drops off nor does it get in the way of anything.

I have the magnet mounted on the phone case on one phone and behind the battery cover on another phone (on the phone that comes with a removable battery bay).

I've purchased a couple as gifts to family... cousin uses it for his large Droid, without issue.

I'm at a loss as to why anyone would need a phone mount when you have Nav and bluetooth.
