You can get the convertible up to PP1 now but there isn't much of a point taking the wishy-washy secretary version of the car higher than that.

Agreed, mustang verts are the ugly offspring of a mustang and a Miata.

They are hard to find because their price was in V8 territories for ‘just’ an i4, but the EcoBoost High Performance Package had every reviewer raving about it. Nice wheels too, that made it to the Mach 1 as an optional package.

Another PP1, M6, V8, Magneride, Active exhaust, 401 vert owner here. Specced to the max except the premium stereo. I don't think many exist in vert the way I specced it.

Best summed up by my buddy: "I have never been in a car that is so friggin fast that is so friggin comfortable."

It's much less "special" than my 2012 GT500 vert, but every bit as fast, with waaaay better handling and comfort. It is a real pleasuremobile.

Performance Pack 1, 6sp manual tranny verts are indeed rare. I had a Marti report run on my 18... Out of 90k total Mustangs produced, only 5700 were GT's verts, and only 796 of those had 6sp manuals!

exactly. I had a 17 PP1 vert with a 6 speed manual, and there were only 156 out of 165K mustangs made in 17

A person can make their car special. Purchase the base and add-on options you want, then add the features you want, and bingo, it's special. That's what I did. It is special enough for me.

In looking over my list of 58 tweaks, large and small, NO ONE has one like mine. I've got a dozen personally fabricated parts as well, so I can guarantee it is one of a kind. It has never has been a goal for my Convertible to be "special" to anyone but me.

I absolutely love the many other unique convertibles, coupes, and variants other folks have shared on our forum, even if they didn't have me in mind when modding their 'stangs. Keep modding and sharing pics, y'all. We love stock and modified Mustangs alike.
