So today I was able to test drive a GT. I Won't bore you guys with a review at this point. My Dad's house is literally down the street from my dealer so I stopped by. His reaction was priceless. He was in aww of this car. Including the interior. I have never seen him that impressed with a modern cars looks. He normally says something like "that doesn't look like a an American car or muscle car". He was so blown away by the car that he is now considering one himself, surprisingly an ecoboost. Keep in mind my dad owned Mustangs ranging from 1968 trough the fox body years and he hasn't felt this way about any Mustang since the sixties. So for those that still think Fusion coupe, a true Mustang veteran says this car is absoltuly a Mustang.:ford:

Ok , on second thought I will add a few points of interest from my drive. Most of what I've heard seemed to hold true.
1. I enjoyed the view of the hood from the seating position.
2. The hips look sweet through the rear view mirrors
3. The seats are awesome but it was hard finding the sweet spot (sadjustment)
4. Clutch pedal was light (maybe too light)
4. Exhaust was a bit too quite
5. Leaving the dealership without this car was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do

I agree with all of these but #5, because I was lucky enough to get mine already. :)

My now 79 year old dad bought a 1965 new. He really likes my '07 GT (and loves the Borla exhaust I installed). I think he was even more excited about the 2015 than I was. He hasn't seen it in person yet, but I can't wait to hear his reaction when he does.

For a "mature" fella he's always had a pretty progressive attitude towards car design -- he also likes the 5th generation Camaros. I wonder what other 60s-era original owners think of the new design.

My dad had a 66 fastback among many, many other Mustangs and he loves this design. We saw it firsthand at the 50th celebration in Charlotte.

As a qualified Boomer, I say it is the best-looking Mustang ever. Never been so excited for a new car!
