It's an awsome road, even at the 60 kph speed limit. I did far too many "laps" in my XR6 many years ago, the "Chase" is my favorite part of the lap, so addictive.I done a few laps of this place today, it puts a whole new perspective on what you see on TV. The poster was in the museum and I'm posting the photo just because.
That looks quite steep on the way down, you dont get that perspective from the racing games. Is it very steep? It's an awsome road, even at the 60 kph speed limit. I did far too many "laps" in my XR6 many years ago, the "Chase" is my favorite part of the lap, so addictive.
Very steep, up and down. People were using it for walking/exercise, no idea why you would subject yourself to that pain. That looks quite steep on the way down, you dont get that perspective from the racing games. Is it very steep?
I wouldnt be much good on it, I nearly crap myself going over the Gateway Bridge in Brissie...
You find out just how steep it is when you come through the dipper at race speed and the road just drops from under you, followed by the thump as you come back down to road level.Very steep, up and down. People were using it for walking/exercise, no idea why you would subject yourself to that pain.
You're not wrong, takes a lot of self control to not send it, but it's heavily policed. That road is very teasing to try! Nice ride
Nice! And still so handsome! You're not wrong, takes a lot of self control to not send it, but it's heavily policed.
And thanks, would you believe the car is now 15 years old, just over 32,000 km since new.
