Each vehicle needs it own file. The 15 Explorer isn't supported at this time, just the 16+.This is outstanding, thank you for your work in this matter as this drived me NUTS lol.
I currently own a 2015 Mustang and 2015 F150 and my wife owns a 2015 Explorer so my question is can the one file I purchase work on all 3 cars? I am aware that each car will need IDS access which will cost per car, I am just wondering if a single file will show my local ford connection how to do this on each vehicle or will I need to purchase one for each?
I see there is a VIN required when purchasing so I am guessing I will need to purchase 3 separate files but I was just wondering.
Thanks,
Jaime
Just installed jmr061's software fix and it works brilliantly. No more annoying honks. My neighbours are grateful too.
Jason's page explains it all:Man I need to do this. Can you explain the process?
Obviously they don't if we are all complaining about it.I drove a 16 the other week at a dealer and I swear it had the option in the cluster. Did the 15s not have it?
I doubt the 16s have the option to turn it on/off. Probably saw something else.I drove a 16 the other week at a dealer and I swear it had the option in the cluster. Did the 15s not have it?
So when you exit the car and leave it running, you don't take your keys with you?Every time I drive my car I put the keys in the cup holder or the center console. Problem solved for me.
Doubt it ... if he did, then the horn would double honk.So when you exit the car and leave it running, you don't take your keys with you?
