Anyone else waiting for their 2016 GT350 order to be scheduled? Mine was ordered 10/14/15, DORA same date. Has been on unscheduled mat. hold since. Dozens of calls to FP, letters to Mark Fields & William Clay Ford Jr. (why not, can't hurt) case number with Customer Relations (still in progress), calls from my dealer owner to district rep., still nothing. Scheduling is about done for 2016 orders. Dealer has ordered a 2017 for me to play it safe. Anyone else experiencing the same problem?

Damn that sucks man. The dealer I got it at was given a last minute allocation a little over a week ago, I put a deposit and order in, and had a VIN that following week, along will a confirmed build week of 5/30 from Ford Performance.

I had waited almost 11 months in "unscheduled material hold" status until a couple of weeks ago when I finally got a VIN# and build week. No build date, but hopefully soon. Hang in there!

Something sounds off here.. I ordered March 10 and got a vin the following week as well. Car just finished with stripes yesterday and is now waiting shipment. Seemed pretty EZ compared to what you are going thru.

It was a Track Pack car. Just got a call from Ford. No more orders scheduled for 2016. They are going to try to get a high priority on my 2017 order.

That blows but I think if you can get an early 2017 that will probably be even better. I wonder when the earliest 2017 models will be delivered? Maybe August time frame?

If the dealer essentially lost an allocation for 2016 and now has to give up a 2017 I am sure they would be fuming mad with ford about that. Sounds like a strange situation. They actually had a 2016 allocation to sell you ?

Very good question, sounds like they may have goofed or placed it hoping it would be picked up/honored by ford.

^ agreed, that is the only way this adds up. They are not going to give you a 2017 allocation out of the goodness of there heart unless they screwed u over in the first place.

The dealer was in the program, paid his $1000 for one 2016 & one 2017 allocation. The problem is that he is only a "Select" dealer and sells very few Mustangs. Also this area does not sell many Mustangs (Wisconsin) which plays into it. I also believe the area "Select Dealer" Rep. was not doing her job. The Senior Customer Service Manager that called me sounds like she has more power than the Rep. My only concern is that the 2016 Track Pack listed "heavy duty front springs" as part of the track package. The 2017 GT350 automatically includes the coolers & aluminum brace as we all know, but there is no mention of front springs. FP doesn't have any info on the 2017 springs either. You would think they would include the heavy rate springs, but with Ford you never know. I have been buying HP Fords since 1964, and have seen weird surprises from Ford.

Im pretty sure the springs are all the same, no need to list as heavy duty since magneride will come on all cars

My dealer was the same as yours, very small select dealer in Illinois, one allocation, but the car was built in January. I suppose its possible the regional rep biffed and never sent the car for scheduling. If that is the case hopefully your dealer will get 2 2017s. Hopefully ford will throw you a bone as well for the crazy wait

Right now my ace in the hole is this senior customer service manager. She seems to have "the power" to get things done. Time will tell.
