It's "GT3", not "G3".

Really cool. Fascinating what all happens outside of the race day that we see on television. I'm really looking forward to the GT3 races worldwide, especially in the IMSA series here in North America.

The engines amaze me, heard dale Jr talking about having nascar do a 24 hour race and said the engine guys said the existing engine would be fine for that long.

NASCAR did that last spring. They took a Camaro to the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and they did very well. It was fantastic to see and hear that engine wailing down the Mulsanne straight.

After the Garage 56 Camaro success and fan interest at LeMans this was a natural step for Ford. I'll be following the Ford program very closely. I attended the IMSA weekend at Watkins Glen this year and it was one of the best fan friendly events ever. It would be fantastic if Ford would compete in the GTD class. There were quite a few Mustangs in the Michelin Pilot Challenge race.

I watched the introduction of the Flat Plane Crank, GT350 in the rain at Watkins Glen.

Since then IMSA has about regulated the platform out of competition, save for an occasional win, by Roush and Johnson, as Porche, BMW and Mercedes roar by with their V8's. fuckem. I quit going to see IMSA.

At least Trans-Am has plenty of Mustangs, as do SCCA events--T-1-T-2, etc..

Having 2 Mustang GTD cars in the big events, and almost none in the GT-4 Pirelli challenge is still not enough.
