Was thinking about a set of 305 all around maybe Pirelli Corsa or Michelin PSC2......

I tracked the Pirelli Corsa quite a bit in my Boss Laguna Seca - incredible tire and grip - after a couple laps those tires were pure glue - use to out corner 991 Carrera PDK cars.

ITLRUN switched his to the GT350R spec PSC2s. Hopefully, he'll chime in.

Just can't get enuff!
Once my MPSS wear out, I'm shooting for Cup2's or R-comps.

I swapped back to the stock tires this morning. It's still too cold to take full advantage of the compound. I tried using the SC2's at WannaGOFAST 1/2 mile race in FL and they just didn't work very well at all. But, it was all about the temperature. It was above freezing, but less than 50* and they just don't work well cold. It wasn't possible to build enough heart in them to make them work properly. I hope to buy a set a track wheels to make swapping tires a much easier task.

Surprised to hear that. They are definitely not meant for below 45F - but still I ran a few winter sessions with the Corsa R comps at Road Atlanta in the 40-50F temp range and it was sticky as hell after a few laps in the Boss.

I will run the stock MPSS until they wear out, nothing wrong with learning a new car with a little less total grip, bigger margin of error.

Keep in mind I was basically doing a 1/2 mile drag race. I'm sure I could have built heat into them on a road course.

No plans right now. I will run the Pilot Super Sports at least until I wear them out, which I expect will be several years. Probably some time in April or May I will be able to get the SS out of storage and put them back on the car.

What wheels will you be putting the 305's front and 315 rear on? Is there an aftermarket wheel for the front's?

305/315 are fine on the stock wheels. They may not be 100% optimal, but you'd have to be a pretty awesome driver to find any fault in them in those sizes.

How much better are the Cup 2's better than the MPSS?
The bigger question is are the tires the limiting factor when it comes to your driving ability
