Aftermarket spoilers, scoops, vents? No thanks.
Giant, deep dish wheels? Methinks not.
Over the top 'skunk' stripes? not even the stock ones.
Logo wraps? Verped a little just thinking about it.
And please, please, no logo sunstrip or whatever across the windshield.

Of course, I fully support anyone's right to customize their ride however they see fit, but mine will always "look" factory stock (ok maybe a window tint...). Even though there might be a few extra goodies under the hood, it won't be advertised.

Any other crotchety fans of the stock appearance out there?

I plan on keeping mine just as I bought it. If you asked me 15years ago the answer would have been different :D

Hello

New Owner here with a Base GT.

I feel you on the pretty much stock look.

I did get my windows tinted and since I have a base GT, I do not have the ambient lighting (Which I wish I did) so I got a LED installed under both Footwells (one for each). It gives it a nice little glow to the area...not tacky or anything.

One other thing I would like to do though (and technically it could still be considered stock but an upgrade for me) is to get the same bumper/valence as GT Premium because I would like the slightly more aggressive look of the rear.

Other then that, I like the wheels that came with the Black Accent Package.

I tinted the windows and put a cat back on. Just clay barred, opti-coated last weekend. Tomorrow a nice coat of wax. I will get some nice aftermarket wheels and a MGW shifter in the spring.

I think when I trade up for the GT... I will put an exhaust and that's it. I don't bring it to the track and it's really just an everyday car. Atleast it will be plenty quick and plenty roar.

I care about infotainment
Yep, I'm all for the stock look, and even performance. Personally, I might do some minor performance mods to mine overtime. But the only thing that I will 100% do, when I can afford it, is a catback.

I like the stock look. I'll probably only add a light tint (35%) and will eventually get some better wheels (something like the PP black wheels).

I'm with you OP, tint is the only deviation from a bone stock OEM appearance for me. My friend has a 06 Mustang with everything but the kitchen sink bolted on his car, 100% opposite of my taste.

If it's a money reason you might want to not be in this forum lol. Every time I go on here I see something else I want. It's an addiction for me. I just can't stop buying parts lol

Yeah I thought the same thing...until I joined this website.
I was not going to touch one thing on this car performance or costmetic. My build list because of this site totals over 8 grand and I'm staying NA.
