Interesting. Ford says the M-5300-W springs lower the car 20mm. But I doubt its that much on a Mach 1. How much do you think those springs actually lowered the car?

Also, Did you put HP springs on after this? If so, did they change the ride hight?

Sorry for the late response.
Well, approximately 25mm at the front and 15mm at the rear with the FORD Performance springs.
And with the HP springs in the 4 corners, 13mm or so.

Looks great! Luckily, the movement barely has them tucked in.
The problem with the HP tires is that the front ones are very offset and on the edge and need a minimum of 15mm of space to avoid friction. Surely if you put spacers you would have friction problems

Wow. Ok that changes things a little. If those numbers are correct, then that means the Ford Performance lowering springs lowered the car MORE than my Steeda Sport springs. Did you have any rubbing issues with those springs and the 285/35s Contis?

Although yours looks lower, I would say your car lowered about 30mm. If they lowered the Ford Performance 0.5" more in the back, they would be perfect!
I had some friction problems with the Conti 285/35 at high speed and when cornering hard, the tire would rub against the anti-splash moldings. I suppose that with a 30 profile it would be solved but behind there would still be more space between the wheel and the fender.

No. Mine was lowered only lowered about .7" in the front and .5 in the rear. That's about 18mm up front. Yours definitely was lower.

Did you take the splash shields off?

Yes. When I had the FORD PERFORMANCE springs I removed them.
Now that I have the HP springs I have put them back in.
