But it does honk when you close the doors with keys inside or when the engine is still running or something. Happened to me twice today, didn't realise what caused it since it was a first day with the car for me
Unfortunately we don't get any honk when opening\closing like most (if not all) cars do in US. Try to guess: some stupid EU law doesn't allow that?? :tsk:
A friend of mine has a C-Max and mirros are closing automatically when he locks the car. Probably is only an ECU setting, like many many other... now, if someone could manage to modify it...
I'm guessing the Mustang brain doesn't know about the mirrors since they don' have them over there... and I'm pretty sure there are regulations against honks when opening/locking the car... every car used to do that up here ... 15-20 years ago, these days NO car makes any sound apart from blinking with the lights (which you sometimes can hear) and locking the doors (same).
I'm confused by manual tho. It says the car blinks twice after closing. However, it only blinks once when you get out and press close button on your remote. You can hear a "lock sound". However, if you press it again, it blinks twice and you can hear a louder "lock sound". What's the difference?
The first click and lock sound is the same as when I touch the lock area on a door handle.
