I'll have to try it. But traction is another thing. I never had 3rd gear hold without back peddling. I think these nitto g2s sucks balls. 😆

You need a better tire my friend. Put some real tires on the rear and leave in a gear that puts your power in the optimal RPM range.. like above 4500 rpm.

Bus lengths will ensue.

I'm gonna look into some pilot 4 I believe there called. I dd this alot so Dr's are kinda out of the question. I appreciate the feedback. I'm thinking of getting a griptec pulley. I think I'm getting some belt slip on this one.

That is definitely belt slip. A griptec pulley will slow down the slip at the expense of belt life.

I DD my car at least 2x per week and run on MT Street SS on the rear. Im making around 800whp on my 10 psi setting and these tires hook at the power level leaving in 2nd gear on 10r80.

If you insist on no DR's at least look at some R888R's or something along those lines.

I feel your pain. I originally went G2 all the way around and the moment the supercharger was installed the back end would slide out faster than a virgin on prom night. Had to switch to the RII and will probably switch again to MT ET Street SS
Oh damn. Yeah these were on it when I bought the car last yr. Definitely gonna get some new rears.

The ONLY reason that I don't have a C7 is because I need to be able to pick up my 2 kids.
Same here. C7 is my favorite Vette. I’ve been looking on and off for one as a funmobile 😎

C7 seems like its running hard but close to what I would expect 60-130. Your car should be putting a way bigger gap way faster. The moment you both go we should see you coming past.

I can't with these 373s. Would prob already be around 6krpms plus it will blow the tires off. I have 305 nitto g2 on the rear. But It would just kick the car out if I punched it in 3rd.
There is your problem, G2s shouldn't go on any performance car or any car imo.
Nothing but terrible all seasons marketed as performance tires imo.

How much rain do you get and how okay are you with spending money on tires? If you don't want to buy new tires every 6k-12k miles then you have to just accept that the car won't hook till very high mph. If you let us know how often it rains, how much you drive, and how often you are okay with buying tires we can probably help you get into some better ones.

If anything just please never buy nitto g2s again.

Those run like high 10 seconds 60-130 when stock I believe… you should be pulling harder than that.

Yeah. I think something is going on with the car. I don't get any kr at wot. I run 91 octane with 4oz boostane professional per tank. Seems to run fine. New plugs, coils. Injectors were professionally cleaned. Great compression and leakdown test was great. I'm kinda at a loss. I dd drive the car 80mi. Round-trip on average 3 to 4 times a week. I'm here by kc. And get caught in the rain sometimes. So would like a tire that wears alittle more slowly and can handle rain and some cold. I didn't buy the g2s that are on there. The prev owner just put them on right before i bought the car.

One other thing I can think of is I always leave the car in normal mode never use sport mode and I leave traction control on, could that be reducing my timing maybe?
