I would have to agree the best seats I have ever sat in were in the Mustang. I still miss those seats. My son and I drive from NJ to Arizona and after 13-15 hours in the seats I had no issues. Only reason I got out of the Mustang was my bad back and knee made it difficult to get in and out of the car.

Great on mountain highways

I've driven my V6 up to the Okanagan from Vancouver 3 times now and this car is amazing on the mountain highways. Cruises uphill in 5th at 120kmh with no fuss at all. Got 8.7 litres/100k last time.
Glad I got the 051 package with the Lumbar controls, absolutely no pain or aches after these trips.

Planning on heading to Oregon next, drive the coastal highways and drink craft beer in Portland.

This is all good to hear, I have an 18 on order with 401a. I have only driven a S550 on a short test drive. I plan to cross the USA often with the new car. We are retired and this is my choice to travel in.

Did a 1,600 miles roundtrip over one weekend last year. Car and stock seats (with pleather) were great, especially compared to the S197 generation Mustang - no complaints.

I drove 1400 miles each direction, from NoVa to Houston and back. The car was amazing, even though the temps hovered around 5 degrees driving back.

I totally agree, the wife's car, and I hope my ordered 18 V-8, are, say tantamount to my 2012 Kawasaki Coucours14. sort of big, >fast< comfortable, safe, and sturdy! I like driving, and owning vehicles I can leave late,, and get there early!!:D

I have been driving the 2018 GT for 10 days now and I have to say this is a very refined car. I have the 20 inch rims with the Goodyear OEM tires and it rides really well over bumpy roads, eve though the suspension is firm it is not punishing. It feel so planted and inspires confidence. I haven't had the chance yet to drive it hard around corners but the highways driving I has done in the last 1000+ miles have been a pleasure. Looking forward to enjoying this car for a long time!

I have about 9500 miles on my '17 GT. I have taken a few short (under 1000 miles) trips with it. I feel more comfortable in it than my Lincoln Mark LT!! It truly is a Grand Touring, yet has the power to sprint with some of the best out there!! Very happy in my purchase. The ride is almost perfect, this coming from a SN-95 as my previous Mustang GT. The '17 feels so planted to the road, even at illegal speeds.

My '17 was almost new when I did the 8 hr. bucket list drive to Memphis and Graceland. First Mustang and the comfort and roadability of this American Icon really impressed me.

I care about infotainment
Drop up to Charlotte, SC and back a few months ago. I was just shocked that I managed to get 375 miles per tank at one point.

This is just the kind of thread I want to see. I chose the Mustang GT, particularly with the Magneride, for its touring qualities. I was also impressed on my short test drive by the low interior sound level. I'm glad that mine's on order.
