I’d be happy with low 6s - not going to tune it on E it’s my driver I don’t daily it but I do drive it a good bit and don’t want to get stuck somewhere cause I took a 3 hr road trip and there’s no e there
Get PCMtech and get the best of both worlds. User inputted flex fuel. Run E85 when it's available and then switch it up when it's not.

Yeah. I did miss the part where you mentioned the traction control, my bad.
Yes.
all the boosted 10R cars I’ve seen on 93 are mid to low 6’s. E and a tire cars are easily high to mid 5’s.
I’m getting that info from the Dragy leaderboards.
Didn’t the guy I originally replied to say he was running 7.0x on a stage 2 Odin with built manual trans - I think to go low 6 you need to be over 750wheel closer to 780ish

The world is going to get very muddled now with "93" on the various levels of fuel conditioners on the Gen4 cars. You'll see deep 5's on highly doped 93. Of course all the stakeholders will point to how this proves the Gen4 is superior to the Gen3 and older.

Be interesting to see what a max 93 (with booster) could do with decent traction. It's a weird aspect of the whole affair that MOST people just don't tune their cars for 93 plus an assload of fuel additive, they usually go 93 or jump directly to E85.

I’ll ask my tuner if it’s compatible with the Roush - if my car wasn’t a Roush I likely would’ve gone twin turbo but want to keep it all Roush

Yeah my tuner did say I’d pick up quite a bit even on the current tune with either VP octanium or Boostane

I also talked to a reputable builder about the gen4 he said keep the gen3. Saying the Gen 4 has big oiling needs and the valves are on borrow time - I have no first hand experience though

Pretty sure I’m the original guy you quoted and I had a stage 2 Odin and BC stage two trans that ran 7.0’s 60-130. It was honestly a high 6 car though.

10R cars are considerably faster than a stick car with the same mods.

I now own a GT350 though so I’m slow again lol

Compatible with the OE PCM. Yes, you'll lose your Roush tune. No reason why PCM wouldn't work as long as it's offered on your year/PCM model. I'd contact them, it's a little more expensive than a typical device and tune, but once you've purchased the up front stuff, the rest of the revisions are much cheaper.

To me it's worth it to have the added power and performance (and safety) of E85 but have the option to drive gingerly with a tank of 93 if you get into a jam.

Yep. I’m on stock tires running 7.2 with traction control on and the magnaride set to track mode - good tires TC off and drag mode would likely do wonders for my times

I don’t disagree but to me not worth the effort for 2-3 times a yr I’ll just dial in the 93 tune - I don’t race this car just drive it to work on nice days, do some shows here and there and date night with the wife if it’s nice weather

if it’s going to rain I don’t drive it also rarely drive it when temps are below 40

I just did a search on draggy talk not seeing that - a 2020 GT 500 at 787 wheel went 6.1. I think it take more than 800 wheel to go low 5 in a full weight S550 - low 5 cars I found are on e around 850 wheel

fastest Roush blower car found was on a 2.7” pulley and e went 5.85.

This is unported Roush 2650 2.7 on E. I just found my run on the board.

Yes a Roush with 2.7 pulley tuned on E should be around 850 wheel - he also is not running magma ride and stock tires but it’s all good

Well mine made 775@7500rpms. It's 13psi boost. I think 13psi boost on a Gen 3 auto car is less than 800whp. Not sure about the tires and Megna ride.

Are you running a Roush blower? I’m at 11 psi on 93 around 710 wheel - we’ll see how much tires help
