These have to be different cams... The firing order is different between FPC and CPC.


Also hood clearance for the CJ intake will be a serious issue for a GT350 hood.

Is the 5.2 using the Flat plane crank since it says ford performance forged crank and not gt350 crank?

They installed the cobra jet intake, cobra jet Throttle body and Long tube headers on our shelby engine. And running the 101 octane and got those hp tq numbers.

They used the stock GT350 voodoo cams. I already talked to ford performance. The cams will be available for the 5.0 soon when running the 5.2 heads on a 5.0

I'm willing to bet $100 the firing order is not the same between a 2016 Coyote and 2016 Voodoo. Are you?

The CJ mani is tuned for 7750RPM. If it works on the Voodoo, your power may not change much. Since the stock engine peaks at 7500-7700, I assume that's what the stock IM is tuned for as well. I don't know for sure since the Voodoo breathes differently. It's going to be an interesting test.

I'm assuming by looking at the torque curve mirroring hat of the Coyote, the 5.2L is a cross-planer... Have we gotten a confirmation on this yet?

I just spoke with Jesse Kershaw from Ford Racing. These numbers are from a 5.2L CROSS Plane crank using the 5.2L block and heads to get the 582 HP. The M-6550-M50 cams are designed for the CROSS plane crankshaft FIRING ORDER. They are NOT GT350 camshafts.

Yep all the head, cams, crank and block info was posted weeks ago. Ford Performance has no intentions at this time to offer the GT350 engine. It will remain exclusive to the GT350. Of course until it's not. ;)

Well I'm only saying what mike at fp said. And he said that that part number was a gt350 fp cam. Either way the voodoo intake can still be used on a cross plane intake.

Well I'm stating what ford performance said to me. He "mike" at ford performance said that the cam part number listed on the op is a 5.2l stock cam and that it would be available soon. He asked me what engine I had and I told him a 5.2 and that I own a gt350. He stated that I already have the cams and that they ran the Cj intake and TB and that was run with long tube and 101 fuel. Either he doesn't know what he's talking about or he does. I don't know. I'm just stating what he told me.

Besides this has gotten out of hand. Who knows what the Cj intake and TB will do on a voodoo? To our knowledge it hasn't been tested yet and the voodoo intake is a direct replacement on the coyote.
