Many of us are running a 5.2 (3.700 bore) bottom ends. Cometic traditionally has not offered the MLX version head gasket for the 5.2, only the standard MLS. The MLX features the stopper design where the center layer is folded back onto itself. Creating additional stack up at the bore, which promotes cylinder sealing.
I simply put in a call and they accommodated! Below is the PN for .044 compressed which is fine for most setups unless your heads or block decks have been milled considerably. Ask your engine builder for your HG thickness needs. Simply call Cometic if another thickness is needed.
I have previously ran oem Predator head gaskets at 26psi or 1300whp with success. Those measure .036 fyi. Making a move to the .044 MLX as i plan for a bit more power. Also note, I have a gen2 and this gasket will not work for gen3.
