I live in the Pacific Northwest and only drive my Mustang when it is sunny. They don't salt the roads here. Is there any reason to spend the extra $$ for 304 stainless when buying a H-pipe? Thanks!

The aluminized steel would be just fine for you.

How long do you plan on keeping the car? Stainless if more than 5 years.

My first job was working for Walker Exhaust in 1976 calling on NAPA stores in Texas. OE exhaust was alumized at the time and people in Texas did not buy many exhaust parts.

If you lived in a salt state, spring for stainless, but where you live, I would worry about it.
