Roush Engineering does a lot of development work for Ford. Heck, back when we worked on the Ranger FX4 Level-2, Roush built the prototypes. Incidentally, SVT engineering - or the group formerly known as SVT - is housed in a Roush building.

Yep. I posted about the connection with Roush over the weekend from my source :D
:ford:

They pretty much help develop everything for SVT/FP (especially engine wise). So any new performance vehicle/package/upgrade or stock performance tuning (next GT engine if its being upgraded) would likely be there.
Doh that's right. I should have remembered that but kept thinking of the Roush comments from before.

I thought Ford said the FPC wouldn't be used outside the GT350? The video does sound more like a CPC to me, but what do I know.

So where is this coming from?

A post like this stating 100% fact and nothing else being said?

Twin turbo voodoo confirmed.
Sure hope so.
I will have a CPC sleeved 5.2/GT 350 headed long block going in my hellion TT car in a few weeks(block just shipped) but would consider selling it if I can get into a GT 50O with a TT/V8(CPC or FPC ) from the factory .
Can't beat OEM for driveability...and warranty .
At least until you turn up the boost .lol

I would love to pair it with the GT 350.

Maybe that car was just testing the AWD setup. ;)

Sounds like the FPC I know and love.

I hope the rumor about the electric hybrid is not true.......
I got a survey asking what I thought about hybrids and I said I plan to never own one. Someone will have to pry the gas engine from my cold, dead hands.

Sure hope so.

I'm gonna say this is just an 18MY refresh GT350R based on the sound. That's definitely a voodoo. They have to test out the cooling packages with the new front-end. Grille changes, even if they seem small, can have a big effect on cooling.

Tis not a FPC to my ears, but hard to tell from that tiny space from about 28-37 seconds into the video. I didnt even hear any turbo whine at all so.... may be something totally different too or just a test mule.

There are many possibilites. It could be a 5.0 with the 5.2 goodies that was making in the 500s and then twin turbod. Or just a Coyote TT.

800hp is not hard to make even on a stock Coyote at all with TT.

Was hoping for a TT engine, but, could this be the Eaton SC you guys are talking about?
