So my '17 V6 car I bought new had (2) key FOBs of course and came with a separate key that worked for the glove box. I regularly lock / unlock the glove box - so I bitched a bit when I realized that my new '19 GT didn't come with a separate key for the glove box. I have to remove the key from the FOB to lock / unlock the glove box.

I'm assuming the '19 wasn't supposed to come with a separate glove box key?

This morning I found the glove box key from my '17. I thought I'd given it to the dealership. I had just locked the glove box on the '19 (with the key from the FOB) and out of curiousity sake I tried the key from the '17. It UNLOCKED the glove box with zero issues...but would NOT lock it. WTH? LOL

My '18 uses the fob key for the glovebox so I assume that Ford dropped the extra key for that MY. I don't lock it very often, only when the car is on display or I leave it top down in a parking lot. With my convertible, the console locks when you lock the car, I wish that Ford had made this the case for the glovebox too.
