Looking to get into an 350R.
What kind of price should I expect to be around?
I see select few paying MSRP off the showroom floor for 17 models.
thx for any help

If you found a used one for under MSRP then you should consider it. If you found a new one for MSRP then you should buy it.

Most are sold new with ADMs, so when owners sell them used they seem to want a profit or recoup most of that ADM.

A few people can swing no or a low ADM - it's been like that every year and those are the ones you hear from because hey, lucky and good job. You DON'T frequently hear people bragging about how much ADM they paid. Point is, hunt for MSRP or a little over for a new one but most of the cars out there will still command an ADM, so don't be too surprised.

PS - I wouldn't sell my R with 3300 miles for MSRP - not a chance...and it's not because I invested in a huge ADM.

I am seeing used, low mileage ones, listed for $77k to infinity. Not many, but they are still getting over MSRP.

likewise. I didn't pay any ADM but I still wouldn't sell mine today (~5k miles) at MSRP.

You have to search diligently. There are deals out there. I hope to be closing the deal on a 16 R with lots of goodies low miles, all the original owner documentation for around 70k. Just waiting on Ford to decide if they will buy back or actually attempt to replace my car. : / If you are serious and have the money I can send you in the direction of a AG R with w/electronics pkg. Not sure what he is asking but worth a try. PM for info

I dont disagree but I wouldnt exactly call ADM an investment :)

Not exactly what I meant. ;) The amount that I have in the car is how much I have invested in it. Expected return, that's a different story.

I talked to a used R owner via email and he wanted to get his ADM out of it. I bet most sellers have the same frame of mind.

Wanting the ADM you paid out of it, just because you paid it, is a little silly, IMO. Wanting more than MSRP because you think that's what the value is...is understandable ;)

Seems like people are still ok with paying 10k over new to be an original owner, but the same used one's out there are stagnating for that amount(and more)

I would not sell my R for less than I paid. I really like it and believe it is worth that. Now as it gets older we will see. Not in it for money. Its a fun car even thou I don't drive it much. Right now I wont even sell it.
