That's really, really bad. Did they say anything about the owner or if he just tried to do burnouts for the full 3k miles? haha

:doh: ... definitely abused/slipped way too much with all the heat spots on the pressure plate and flywheel.

Agreed. It's one thing for the friction pads to come off the clutch, it's another for the flywheel to get warped and hot-spotted in the process. Beaten to death lol

Yep, a clutch disk with stripped off clutch material and no burn spots anywhere is sign of a major mis-shift (5th down to 2nd at 70 MPH), or a power shift with way more than stock HP. Seen a couple of those instances posted up too in the last month.

^^^ LoL, you said it couldn't take your HP (667rwhp). So yeah, eventually it's gonna let go no matter how good you shift ... no surprises it didn't last too long. ;)
