2015 GT speed limiter is 149mph?

Everythin I have seen says the GT is supposed to be 155mph and the ecoboost perf is 149 mph. Is 155 perf pack only? Hit the speed limiter at 149 on the dyno today.

Thanks! Which model stock GT? My stock GT, auto, 3.15 gears and 20 inch wheels, appears to be factory set at 149mph.

Base GT / Auto / 3.15 / 18" wheels

Huh why the difference? Oh well I wont hit that speed anytime soon, and if/when I do the limiter wont be there

Just annoying because it cuts the dyno run short.

Are you just dyno'ing to get a baseline or tuning? Cause if you're tuning, raise the value

I was filling up yesterday and there was a guy next to me in an S550 (Mercedes) that was asking how fast my car went. I told him I had only gone about 90 but thought it was around 160 (couldn't remember what the number I had read before was), and that I thought it was just drag limited. I guess he had taken his to one of the more deserted highways here and hit the 130 limiter on his car.

I'll know the limiter next time!
