ok, now mine is delayed. I just called and it got pushed back from 8/31 to 9/14, so 2 weeks further out. Strange he said my ETA had not updated yet and still said 9/13-9/19, but he said once its on the way it will update.

Okay disneyfun1, I called FP and mine got pushed backed to the 14th too.

I don't know how they are going to build so many cars in one week. Got a feeling they are going to push some of us back again:shrug::frusty:

do you know if they are building in vin order, or is there any vin order at all, the last 4 of mine is 0418. hopefully they dont keep moving it back further

According to FP they are supposed to be built in order. But he did say that sometimes a few might get flipped around. I have 108.

Well, the last 4 of my VIN are 0245 and my build date is now 9/21. Was 8/31 last week. Doesn't seem like there is much of an order

I Agree. But according to FP. NO 16's have been built yet. So the launch was ????. I think it was more for the press than anything else.

Does anyone on this forum have a 16 and either have a build date that's b4 the 14th or is currently in production?

Stock order, priority 01 as of today is showing 9/8 build date.

Hi everyone Im new to the forums and have a question about ordering a 2016 GT 350.
After you put the initial deposit down how does the rest of the financing work. I was planning on taking a loan out with my local credit union. I guess I just have the money transferred on the day of car delivery ? Problem is the credit union will only hold funds for 60 days to allow you to "shop" for your car. Seems like a window that could easily be missed with delivery delays or other unexpected occurrences. Any thoughts on that ?

First, you have to find a dealer with an allocation they're willing to sell you. Negotiate a price, maybe they want a deposit, maybe not (mine didn't.) Then when the car arrives you get your financing in order.

Thanks, do they give you a period of time to get the funds together generally speaking ?

I have a local dealer that is currently saying they are willing to sell at MSRP (still need to talk to the inventory guy though), has an allocation of 2 2016 350's (non R)

Now adays financing decisions are almost instant. Unless you have an extremely impatient dealer, then I'd expect so. You should be able to line up financing in less than one day unless you have marginal credit. If that's the case, you probably won't be able to buy a (nearly) $60k car. Also, the dealer will try to run your credit and get you financed because they can make money that way as well.

Thanks, I have solid credit so no problems there. I wounder what type of financing ford would offer. Prolly worse than a credit union.

they'll probably try and match if the credit union is offering better rates. at least that's what happen to me 2 years ago.
