Placed mine last Thursday and dealer has the DORA. There was some ADM paid to the speed gods on my behalf.....

Yeah I got word from my dealer that is isnt going to be accepted by the factory until september, so I am guessing then is when I will get a VIN and final build date, etc

Similar here. Got word from my dealer today with the following:

"I spoke to my Ford rep today and I have some bad news. They told me that it could possibly be the final quarter of the year before I can even order our Mustang. I guess with the body style change it is pushing everything back in our region and as is the case with most other things Ford does, the big dealers get theirs before we do. I'm sorry for the bad news. Hopefully I end up getting it sooner but it could be awhile."

Really nice dealer either way and for MSRP I won't complain. Gives me more time to save more money and hopefully ford to work out some QC :-D

Yes, got the VIN a week ago and of course the last couple numbers in the VIN signify the build sequence number.

I like blue, white and red cars and black obviously as well.

Your car will look outstanding in blue and white.

If your car is a 2015 you should have the VIN by now especially if it is one of the first 50 as they are being built the week of July 13th with my being built the week of July 20th.

After discussions with Ford they tell me the 2016 cars are starting to be built in mid August so not long for all owners of the 2016 cars!!!

Hey PP0001 can you lookup any info from your VIN on http://www.cotusb.ford.com/ ?

You should be able to put your VIN in to track it.

Thanks for the link but it is my understanding that this link will not work until the car has been built?

I gave it a try but it did not work.

Luckily I am being provided information from another source which gives me updates about every week.

I will be checking this link once the car has been built in July.
