Almost installed it last night. Got to my brothers house after a 12 hour shift, we stood there discussed a few things looked at each other and decided to grab a few beers and our guitars and head out by the pool. Almost.

I’ve only had the PP2 for six months and the new filter that came with it is already filthy. Anyone else seeing this?

Recently went with a blue Airraid filter non-oiled. Plus it looks a lot nicer under hood.

The $20 part is the foam blocking element 9601B. The filter element is 9601A.

I posted this in the drag section but thought everyone here would be glad to see I got into the 11's running a PP2 tune! Did anyone else hit a sub 12 second pass yet?

Actually, I believe Ford may have changed the part numbers for these items. I recently purchased several of the paper filters at $13.08 each (MSRP was $19.95, but may have increased). The part numbers for these GT350 filters I got are Motorcraft #FA-1922/Ford #FR3Z-9601-B. YMMV.

Definitely weird. When I shopped around for these filters, I kept using the '9601-A' with negative results. So I tried the '-B' and got a bunch of returns with prices from a low $13 to an Ebay price of $108.
