If you're on Facebook, tune in to Lund Racing at noon today. (Like the page if you haven't already!) They are set to announce the results of their new tune for the Shelby GT350. Knowing these guys like I do, you can expect solid results!!!

Any guesses what they were able to do in just a few days?

Just in,

Lund Racing's 2016 GT350 numbers are in. 442/373 bone stock with 93 octane in the tank. After a little tweaking with the calibration we picked up 14.5 hp and around 10 ft/lbs of torque for 456/384. Then we decided to see what the stock fuel system would do with e85... good news is.. it is happy.. and the engine LIKES it. Picked up another 23 HP and 22 Ft/lbs for 480/406! More to come as we tweak more, but our initial impression is lots of thumbs up! We'll be hitting the drag strip this weekend. If we can get a sticky tire on it and some seat time, we're hoping for some pretty decent ET and MPH!

Great news. Should have our car broken in by the weekend.

Too slow on the draw. :(

If the dyno and stock rating are accurate, that's showing a 16% loss. That means on E85, it's making 572bhp!!

Solid results. The dyno looks like it cut off early though? The healthier low end torque should help a lot with 0-60 and quarter mile, and the higher top end will of course help on the track.

While the peak gains are good to see, I like the fact that the 2500 - 3200RPM torque plateau was worked out. Very nice.

That E85+Lund curve is super sweet. The tune alone shifts the cross-points of the curve to the right, but dagum, that E85+Lund shifts it even further!

It is the scaling that causes the appearance of the curves to shift. Horsepower and Torque ALWAYS have to cross at 5252.

Thanks for the clarification. I was wondering the physics behind the shift. :headbang:

It is a marketing ploy by companies to change the scale for HP and Torque. It makes the peak numbers and curves "appear" closer. Ford did this when they originally released the "dyno graph" of the 5.2. At a glance and to most consumers it looks much better, but to those that understand it's smoke and mirrors.

On K&N's dyno, it would probably be sitting at 500-505whp!
