No kidding. LOL!!

Just a few pounds lighter than my loaded GTPP.

Wow... no wonder point & shoot acceleration is a few tenths slower than hoped for.

Not trying to derail or gripe, but this really seems to be an area where the new Camaro has an upper hand. We still haven't seen an optioned out 2SS weighed though. Cars are so fat these days!

Optioned out 2SS with sunroof is going to be about 3,760-80

Why is the RF 128 lbs heavier ... setup that way to help offset the driver in the seat?

This would put the tech a bit over 3800lbs.

My resonators and rear seats were going anyway so whatevs.

Never was going to be. Bigger brakes, beefier driveline, springs, etc etc.

Would it make everyone feel better though if I said that the SLS AMG Black was around that weight? Never heard of anyone complaining about that ride. Don't mind the 622 horsepower thing though. We only cost 50 - 65K.

Hard to say, battery? Uneven ground? Without being perfectly level and without perfect spring loading it could swing a few pounds to any corner. I think even turning the wheel a tad can do that.

I bet Vorshlag gets this thing under 3600.

Wider tires, wider wheels, extra coolers, etc. Gotta pay to play.

Weight savings really don't have a whole lot of formula too it either. Use less of it, slim down. The S550 did get wider.

And again if it makes anyone feel better, I have a buddy who drives an E92 M3 with the Performance Pack. Even with an aluminum hood, fenders, fiber glass bumpers and body panels (yes believe it or not, the front has a lot of plastic), and a carbon roof, it still weighs over 3700 lbs.

Pretty much what Ford has estimated (from their website):

GT350 Track Pack = 3791
GT350 Tech Pack = 3798

I wonder how much the "trunk junk" weighs?
