Both have pros and cons. Ecoboost better mpg, cheaper, lighter. GT more power, better sound, torque.
I'd honestly say if you can afford the gas and tires get the GT. The ecoboost is handicapped by it's subpar cooling system that would require a couple grand to remedy. I love the ecoboost but...
Yep and totally didnt apply in my situation. I make decent money with no wife and kids and my mortgage is $700 a month. And $300 of that is taxes and insurance which you will always have regardless. So actually $400 a month is my total debt to the man. Truck has 121,000 miles on it and should...
Thanks guys. It was a tough decision but ultimately the right one for me right now. I didn't actually trade the car for the truck. I just wanted in on the I traded the ecoboost for a v8 fun. lol. I actually have owned this truck a little while. I paid cash for it when I bought it. I just...
Loved the thing. Great mpg, pretty quick, and beautiful. A little sad to see it go but glad, maybe relieved is the word, to get out from under the payment. The v8, 4.6 triton, is paid for and to be honest I am seriously contemplating never buying a new car again. It's crazy how willing I was to...
It's the same attitude I see from some smokers. The just deal with it mentality as they stand outside an entrance and blow smoke into people's faces as they walk in. Yeah people can just deal with it. But do you really want to be that guy? I'd rather be the polite neighbor that keeps up his...
Depends on your perspective. Mpg, bang for the buck, weight, power per liter all go the the ecoboost. The gt has more horsepower and you pay a high premium for that. The gt is Shaq. The ecoboost is Kobe.
Sad to see people's complete lack of respect for their neighbors. I guess society is heading in that direction as a whole. I hope you guys never have to experience loud neighbors and being stuck in an apartment or condo. I've been there and it's not fun. Remember if that loud family moves next...
The one neighbor that said something that is. When I was younger I had loud motorcycles and cars and felt terrible when I would leave out in the morning. Only to get pounding headaches from the noise when I drove it. Pretty smart I was. Needless to say my cars stay bone stock these days.
I'll second what the other guy said about it being one of the toughest experiences I've ever went through. I went to prison when I was 18 for a couple years too. I would put it right up there with that. Took about six months before I even felt halfway normal. Life will go on eventually. I...
I'd say it's not a good idea but it sounds like your parents will help with any extra expenses that come from you having that nice car. Be thankful to your parents. My dad kicked me out when I was your age and even accused me of stealing his dishes that I had bought for myself. I didn't get a...
If visibility is still the same as last gen than it's a complete waste of a good car imo. Visibility was tank like on last gen. No amount of hp or interior upgrades can change the fact that the last gen was a horrible driving experience due to visibility.
That's actually the same argument gt owners say about the ecoboost. There's a 7k difference between the ecoboost and gt. So 7k in mods would make for an ecoboost that blows the doors off a gt.
Why not dd your ecoboost? Good mpg and it's a blast to drive. They'll make plenty more mustangs in the years to come for whenever yours becomes worn out.
