Right? What a dumpster fire of a teaser. They should have done between the Edge ST reveal and the F150 hybrid teaser. And then have your graphics department spend 30 minutes coming up with a new emblem design.
So it sounds like the Mach 1 is for sure going to be a V8 hybrid Mustang...but they're testing the idea of putting the same set up in an Explorer and sharing the name??
Levine also clarified on Twitter:
Didn't he mention something about getting the V8 sound with the electric acceleration? Maybe they'll just simulate the v8 sound? :D
Just re-watched the video...when the door opens, you hear a Mustang crank up @ 38 seconds.
The designers of the 15-17 spoke about this shark-inspired design, but I never really saw it. Now they nailed the shark appearance. Funny how turning the headlights upside down can do that. The front end also reminds me of a Jaguar f-type. There's just something more mature about the design that...
It's like the Super Duty brackets and the 2006 Gillette Grille had a baby. Meh. Sporty trim reminds me of a Ranger for some reason...not exactly a bad thing.
Nice engine options though...my dad just bought a 2016 with 2.7 and I told him they're already updating the design. He said he's...
Just buy a crate motor for the other vehicle and then pay someone to do it. I attempted one in an S197 and it was the biggest mistake I've ever made. Trust me, it's a fun idea, but unless you need a really specific racing application, it's a black hole of time, energy, money, and sanity.
I'm assuming this is 121?
That stretch of 121 hasn't been able to keep up with the McKinney/DNT boom. This part of 121 always worries me because you've got a mixture of drivers (alot of rural drivers still in that area) and semis for all the construction that's going on. My wife drives to...
Pssh, next you'll tell me that any mustang can be made popular by some old, race car driver signing the dashboard and throwing a supercharger on the motor.
