I found a nice loophole around that. The CO2 tax is based on the date that the licencenumber is issued, not the date that the registration is put to your name. I had my licence number issued already, actually on the same day as yours (it's 84 numbers lower) so both my CO2 tax and price are 2015 level. The registration to my name however will be done on 2 January 2016, which will make the car a 2016 registrationToo bad the CO2 taxes are raised on the 1st of januari.
So the car is suddenly 4200 euros more.
My car is a company car as well, but I buy our company cars instead of leasing them so I actually do need to consider the depriciaton factor. Which is why I will be driving a POS rental for the next 5 weeks :frusty:
