Just picked up this CX-50 a couple weeks ago. Was tempted to get the turbo but couldn't justify the extra money seeing as it's the new family/wife's car, and I already have my toy lol so ... Really liking it though. Handles great for what it is and better looking than the Honda CRV and Toyota RAV4 in my opinion. And NO CVT transmission thankfully. Now I just have to finish up de-chroming the exterior.

Very nice :) I wish I had held out for the CX50. When I got my CX5, they were still a few months out. I agree about the turbo, I didn't go turbo, and no CVT is a huge bonus for me. Plus the trans has a proper drain plug and dipstick so it is easier to service.

Thanks!... Yes, simple all around for maintenance as well as having actual buttons and knobs in the interior instead of everything being touchscreen. We actually went in looking at the CX-5, until my wife saw the CX-50 in that Ingot Blue Metallic and liked it better. And honestly, so did I once I saw the two right next to each other in the showroom.

Yes, I agree I like the look. I bought mine during the car "shortage" of 2022 and had to wait a few weeks for mine to come in. The Carbon edition kinda drew me in, I liked the look.. The blacked out wheels and mirrors was nice.

Not bad for 70K miles in less than 2 years :)

The Cx5s still look great, and that's a great color!

My 34 Ford I got from a junk yard when I was 16, 69 vett the engine had caught fire and the front end was gone so I got it cheap ($1000). 80 vett I ordered so my wife would date me, 19 Shelby without my wife knowing….🥰
My DD is shop 06 GMC work van, Wife’s cars are 15 Edge and 69 Camaro.
Still got them all, didn't drive the 34 last year. Upgrading the wife's Camaro...

To OP: I would feel bad for that 90-yo original owner that his car is gonna swap hands so quickly again for a quick buck... but I get it. Hopefully you can find an owner who appreciates it. Beautiful collection, though.

The Mach 1 is my daily:

The Cayman GT4 is my occasional weekend fun/track car:

Bonus blast from the past: My 2007 IS350 that I had for eight years until an idiot drunk driver totaled it. This one was both my daily driver AND my weekend fun/track car:

Honorable mention: My wife also has a 2009 Ford Fusion that will soon be replaced with... something? She got the car years before we met, and we're both over it. It'll be replaced with something practical but fun so that I won't mind driving it. I'd like to get a GR Corolla, but unfortunately she thinks hatches are "ugly"...

Very good car, but nothing more than a car, never really developed a bond with it.
I'll keep it as a practical car for the foreseeable future as I don't see many alternative lying around.
Next addition to the fun cars category is either another Mustang (the 7th gen) or an MX-5.

It’s the previous owner of the bike. The day I went to check out the bike to buy it he opened the garage door and I saw the Chevelle. At that point I wasn’t so interested in the bike! ….super clean….At that point I knew the condition of the bike and bought it.
No doubt! Thanks for sharing those pics.

Nuthin crazy… 2018 F150 with 6 inch lift and 35 inch Nittos, for obvious reasons 😂 Bought her brand new back when you could buy a new truck for less than 50k…and just clicked over 99k miles on the little 5.0 😬

Just wondering what else everyone has in their garage/collection. Total judgement Free Zone.

Here's mine.

The Bullitt with the little rescue dog. Cutest Damn dog I have ever met........ As a lifelong German Shepherd ONLY kind of guy, it is embarrassing, but she is such a sweet little thing. I don't see it as a dog, it is a living stuffed animal entity................

1989 944 S2 "New Addition" Rescued from a 90 year old original owner. Likely going to be a "flip" to roll the $$ into something else, but so far is very interesting.

1976 912E - Rescued in 2010, rebuilt and out back on the road in 2015. Total Dream car since 1974. Will keep till I die and pass on in my will.

The DAILY DRIVER 2017 Tundra TRD PRO - 100K FLAWLESS MILES........... Best overall daily driver and overall vehicle I have ever owned. Hauls @$$, Hauls, seats 5, tows anything, goes through anything. Really love this truck.

I should have taken pictures of my Mustang, but it was just a GT premium convertible with the usual equipment, nothing special, so I didn't really think of it. Now that it's gone, I wish I had some pictures. So here's the current ride, other previous ride and son's Mustang. We seem to have a thing for blue with black wheels.

Since retiring and downsizing, I had to sell my cars... down to one car (BMW) and an SUV. I hated to do it, but we don't drive much and no place to keep them.

If you sell the 944, please let me know. I have had numerous new 911’s but have always wanted a clean 944.
The 911 you built is beautiful.
