Remote Start

I’ll be honest that I’ve had my car for a year and a half and for the first time starting last week I started using the remote start. I have just been starting the car when I’m coming out of work. This morning before I went into work I turned the air up full blast so when I start the car it will cool down for me. When I got to the car and got in nothing was blowing because you have to push the start button before anything activates so the car was hot as hell. Has anybody found a way around that?

I had the opposite experience today. I haven't used remote start in over a year. When I got in, the AC was at full blast. I did not have it on when I turned the car off. When I pressed the Start button, the AC shut off.

This is how it works for me. If it’s hot out, the ac is activated, and the opposite if it’s cold out. Doesn’t matter how I have it set when I turn the car off, including having the climate system off when I turn the car off.

Not me. I get in and hit the start button as requested and the only thing that comes on is full blast seat cooler. Who wrights this code?

Same here, every time with the drivers seat cooler that wasn’t on last time .
And the car has to be like double locked for the remote start to work.

I mean before hitting the start stop button. When I hit the button it goes to whatever I had it set to before, including off. This is a 301A car.

And the car has to be like double locked for the remote start to work.

Yes, press lock 2x then start. This is to prevent accidental remote starts by things hitting the button in your pocket.

Yes!!??

Pretty sure it's in the advanced settings in the instrument cluster.

And yet nothing to prevent me from setting off the alarm at 6am as I bend down to tie my shoes

Gotta forscan that to require 2 button presses!
